An event on Sustainable Futures:
Integrating ESG Principles for Global Transformation
AAROHAN 2.0 is the second edition of Global Summit series organized by Student Research and Development cell of ATLAS SkillTech University. The theme of AAROHAN 2.0 is “Sustainable Futures: Integrating ESG Principles for Global Transformation”.
In an era of increasing global interconnectedness, the risk and opportunity landscape for corporations across sectors has undergone a profound evolution. Over the quinquennium, unprecedented technological disruptions and disasters have shaped the criteria by which stakeholders assess the resilience and sustainability of businesses. The contemporary approach extends well beyond traditional financial metrics, seeking a comprehensive understanding of the value a company can generate over time. Against the backdrop of intensifying social inequalities, an unprecedented health crisis, escalating economic repercussions, a global climate crisis, and accelerated environmental degradation, the assessment of companies' performance on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics has become a critical evaluation parameter.
Every sector undeniably bears significant responsibility, there exists an even greater imperative for governments worldwide to establish a conducive regulatory environment conducive to the development of ESG goals. Sustainability and green development have become priority areas, poised to facilitate a consistent increase in Green Financing, notwithstanding challenges such as global uncertainty and capital outflows from the economy. In light of these considerations, organizational strategy is now intricately linked to priorities concerning climate change, decarbonization, ethical supply chains, the circular economy, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), all underpinned by robust governance and supported by a comprehensive ESG framework, encompassing measurement, reporting, and assurance processes.
This summit serves as a convergence point for academicians, researchers, students, and industry practitioners, fostering discussions and exploration of conceptual works, empirical findings, and the policy implications surrounding sustainable business models in contemporary contexts. Providing a multifaceted experience, the summit includes research paper presentations, keynote sessions, and panel discussions featuring esteemed speakers of global renown. Beyond these enriching sessions, the summit creates valuable networking opportunities, encouraging meaningful connections among participants.
Summit Objectives
To foster exploration of sustainable business
models within contemporary contexts and collectively grasp the impact of technological disruptions, environmental challenges, and societal changes on the evolving business landscape, emphasizing how businesses can contribute to sustainability.
To encourage businesses to seamlessly integrate ESG considerations in evaluating corporate performance and its pivotal role in their strategic decision-making processes.
To create a platform for meaningful connections among participants, including academicians, researchers, students, and industry practitioners, to drive sustainable development by encouraging the sharing of insights, best practices, and innovative solutions that collectively address global challenges.
