At ATLAS SkillTech University, learning isn\u2019t confined to classrooms\u2014it transcends borders, cultures and time zones. This philosophy came alive during the recent Boston Immersion 2025<\/strong>, where a select cohort of ATLAS students embarked on a transformative academic journey across some of the most prestigious universities in the United States. Spanning a series of immersive sessions, campus experiences, and masterclasses, the immersion was a deep dive into global education, innovation and leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s a glimpse into the unforgettable week that redefined perspectives and sparked ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Northeastern University \u2013 Where Experience Meets Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The immersion kicked off at Northeastern University<\/strong>, renowned for its experiential learning model. The day began with a detailed admissions session led by Prof. Bradley Booke<\/strong> and Mr. Stephan Jordan<\/strong>, who introduced students to Northeastern’s co-op program and interdisciplinary academic framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A student-led campus tour added a personal touch, making the university feel both aspirational and accessible. The highlight was a powerful masterclass on Communication & Leadership<\/strong> by Prof. Melissa Berry Woods<\/strong>, whose U.S. Army experience offered valuable insights into emotional intelligence and trust-building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A picturesque campus tour brought Tufts\u2019 balance of tradition and innovation to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A standout masterclass on Cybersecurity<\/strong> by Prof. Josephine Wolff<\/strong> connected ethical responsibility with digital threats\u2014especially relevant for our tech-driven world. A candid student panel discussion<\/strong> concluded the visit, offering real-life insights into international student life at Tufts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second day was spent at the vibrant and diverse Boston University (BU)<\/strong>. Senior officials from BU\u2019s graduate schools\u2014including representatives from Communication, Engineering, Business, and Data Sciences\u2014shared insights on admissions, values, and student support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guided tours across Questrom School of Business, College of Communication, and the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences revealed a university deeply invested in interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The academic sessions were a trilogy of inspiration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Dr. Hutch Hutchinson<\/strong>‘s session on feedback in communication\u2014interactive and eye-opening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  3. Mr. Jeffrey Considine<\/strong>‘s engaging masterclass on Game Design & System Thinking<\/strong>, which challenged students to reframe complexity through creativity.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Bentley University \u2013 Innovation, Immersion and Interaction<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    At Bentley University<\/strong>, the day began with a warm welcome from Glisery Colon<\/strong> and Sean Ferguson<\/strong>, highlighting Bentley\u2019s strong industry-academic interface. A Creativity Workshop<\/strong> by Prof. Andy Aylesworth<\/strong> used improv exercises to enhance communication and leadership skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A showstopper came in the form of an Immersive VR Lab Experience<\/strong> led by Prof. Gaurav Shah<\/strong>, where students used Meta Quest 3 headsets to explore underwater environments\u2014a vivid demonstration of VR in business education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The day concluded with a UXC Interactive Session<\/strong> by Prof. Gary David<\/strong>, whose energy and global curiosity (including a love for cricket!) made it deeply memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Harvard University \u2013 Walking Through Legacy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

    No immersion would be complete without stepping into the hallowed halls of Harvard University<\/strong>. Students were guided through Harvard Yard, Memorial Church, and the Harvard Business School (HBS) campus by graduates Ayush Shukla<\/strong>, Bhavya Jain<\/strong>, and Sanno Srivastava<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Lunch at Spangler Hall<\/strong> with HBS alum Sai<\/strong> was followed by a spirited tour by Mr. David Ager<\/strong>, Senior Lecturer at HBS, whose storytelling breathed life into the Harvard experience. A final session by Prof. Dana<\/strong> demystified HBS admissions and encouraged students to dream big\u2014without intimidation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Babson College & UMass Boston \u2013 Innovation Meets Insight<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The morning at Babson College<\/strong> began with a heartfelt welcome from Mr. Jamie Kendrioski<\/strong>. A dynamic masterclass by Dean Dr. Amir Reza<\/strong> on cultivating a Global Mindset<\/strong> inspired introspection and cultural empathy, capped with a unique \u201cLife Pie Chart\u201d self-reflection activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the afternoon, students visited University of Massachusetts Boston<\/strong>, where Ms. Danielle<\/strong> presented the admissions framework. A masterclass on AI in Finance<\/strong> by Prof. Mine Ertugrul<\/strong> offered a technical deep-dive into how artificial intelligence is reshaping financial strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Brandeis University \u2013 The Grand Finale<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    An afternoon session by Prof. Ian Roy<\/strong> on the intersection of tech, engineering, and business included a tour of the Rapid Prototyping & Maker Labs<\/strong>, featuring student-designed war robots\u2014a thrilling finish to the immersion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
