The ATLAS | ISME FY BBA student Mahek Nayak has won two medals in Badminton at Maharashtra State Olympic Games 2022. She bagged a Gold medal in Mixed Doubles Individual Event and a bronze medal in the Women\u2019s Team Championship. Around 8,000 sportspersons across the state in 39 disciplines participated in this tournament that took place after 22 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 18-year-old says that now her focus will be the 2028 Olympic games. \u201cParticipating in a tournament of such a massive scale itself was a sheer joy for me. However, winning a gold medal in the mixed doubles event and a bronze medal in the team championship is like a cheery on top of a cake and quite overwhelming. The win marked a great beginning of the year. Now, my eyes are on the 2028 Olympic Games\u201d, she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
