It is ATLAS tradition to welcome visiting delegations from across the globe including industry partners, research institutions, government bodies other leading universities. A delegation of senior faculty members led by Prof Alex Hughes, Deputy Vice Chancellor (global engagement and employability) visited our campus in Mumbai to discussed various opportunities to build cross cultural learning for students of both universities. The delegation was accompanied by the students of Westminster Working Cultures (WWC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students of Westminster Working Cultures (WWC) immersed in collaborative learning with ATLAS faculty and attended insightful sessions conducted by Prof. Ameya Ambulkar, faculty of Entrepreneurship, ATLAS | ISME and Prof. Ritika Karnani, Associate Program Director, Strategic Design Management & Product Design, ATLAS | ISDI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Alex Hughes, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Employability & Global Engagement, Stephen Wallis, Director of Transnational Education, Kamalini Sivagurunathan, Associate Head of College of Design, Creative & Digital Industries and Prof. Mohammed Gulrez Zariwala, Professor – Life Sciences were a part of the delegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit was an important opportunity for us to strengthen bilateral partnerships and discover new avenue for our students to excel through Semester Abroad & Student Exchange Program, Masters Progression, Joint Research & Journal Publications and Global Immersion & Summer School Programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his session with the students of Westminster, Prof. Ameya covered social entrepreneurship businesses and their business models from an Indian Perspective. Students also learnt about sustainable businesses from an entrepreneurial angle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be it management, design, economics or the sciences, every field has its own set of challenges which need to be navigated. Problem-solving is an art. Prof. Ritika Karnani helped the students to break down the problem and use innovative ideation tools to find an appropriate solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, ATLAS students were seen busy in two-way exchange of knowledge, culture and academic experiences with the faculty and students of the University of Westminster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
