The award was presented to her in a grand ceremony at the Innovation Education Leadership Awards held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This prestigious award presented by Stars of the Industry Group is a testament to Chancellor Dr. Shahani’s unwavering dedication to advancing ATLAS SkillTech University’s mission to create leaders of the future by empowering them with 21st<\/sup> century skills and transdisciplinary knowledge to excel in industry 4.0. Through her innovative leadership and tireless commitment to academic excellence, ATLAS has flourished under her unwavering guidance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of Dr. Shahani’s vision and leadership, our University has achieved numerous milestones and accomplishments, including creating a massive global knowledge exchange platform in form of International Faculty Week to winning Times Education ICONS Awards 2022 for the Top Emerging Management & Design University. This award is a well-deserved recognition of her efforts and the many contributions she has made to transform the education through Skill and Technology driven approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Dr. Indu Shahani<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dr. lndu Shahani is the Founding President and Chancellor of ATLAS SkillTech University. Dr. Shahani was the Sheriff of Mumbai (2008, 2009), Member of the University Grants Commission (2011-14) and Principal of H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai (2000-16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Academician with over four decades of institution building experience, she has played the lead role in nurturing her students to become professionals with a heart. She was the first Indian to be appointed Vice-Chair on the Board of Governors of the International Baccalaureate (IB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has been invited to leading Corporate Boards and key listed companies providing an impetus for \u2018Academia \u2013 Industry Collaboration\u2019, the subject of her PhD from The University of Mumbai. Dr. Shahani is an independent Director on the Board of Colgate Palmolive (India) Limited, United Spirits Limited \u2013 Diageo, HSBC Asset Management, Bajaj Electricals Limited, Clariant, Eureka Forbes Limited and Lighthouse Learning Limited.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
