The role of a university extends beyond preparing students for technological advancement and innovation; it should also instill in the future generation the values of community service. In a demonstration of this commitment, ATLAS SkillTech University’s Rotaract Club, known as RC ATLAS, embarked on a transformative journey to Bhopoli village in the Palghar district, Maharashtra, as part of their UDAAN-Village Adoption Project. This heart-warming initiative, named ‘PRAGATI,’ aimed to make a lasting impact on the education of underprivileged children in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UDAAN-Village Adoption Project is a testament to RC ATLAS’ unwavering commitment to community development. Under this project, the Rotaract Club partners with local communities to identify areas in need of support and works towards holistic development. In Bhopoli village, ‘PRAGATI’ was born with a simple yet powerful goal: to distribute books and enhance the educational prospects of the village’s children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education is often hailed as the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and RC ATLAS took this idea to heart. With immense dedication and enthusiasm, the club members managed to distribute a staggering 1200 books to approximately 500 underprivileged children attending the local school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RC ATLAS’ commitment to community work runs deep. The ‘PRAGATI’ project in Bhopoli village is just one example of how the university is actively contributing to the betterment of society.
