Course Objectives
This will be an introductory course on the basic concepts of film & video editing, and the various
building blocks that comprise the post-production process of filmmaking.
This course has been designed keeping both the beginners as well as the intermediate level participants in mind.
The objective of this course would be to enjoy the proceedings, whilst also making it an engaging & an equally nourishing learning experience about one of the core aspects of filmmaking i.e. Editing/Post-Production.
A set of 2-3 intensive yet fun editing exercises and a few mini-exercises will be shared with the participants during the tenure of the course. The participants would then have to build short narrative edits with the provided resources.

Understanding editing and the various aims, objectives and principles of editing.
Understanding the creative and storytelling aspects of editing - not just the technical aspects.
Understanding important concepts like flow, beats, pacing, rhythm & narrative structuring.
Another important idea behind this course is to help the participants get acquainted with the systematic and highly disciplined workflow methodology that is involved in editing & post-producing a film/video.

This elective will enable aspiring Foodpreneurs to understand this very space of foodpreneurship. It will dive into the business, logistics, creativity, and innovation within this booming industry to empower leading innovators within this space.
3D Modelling and Animation have evolved the experiences we can create to take the world on a virtual journey that is beyond real. It has created an extraordinary platform for creators and storytellers to transform the consumption of digital content with the power of imagination and technology. This elective gives you a platform to give your creativity that platform to breathe life into your stories, characters, objects, and shapes. Through Technology, Creativity, and Innovation you will be empowered with the art of 3D modeling and animation. Using the software Blender, Basics of modeling, the concept of shaders, lighting, rendering, sculpting, camera tracking, and animation basics are some of the multiple facets of 3D Animation and Modeling that you will be exposed to in this elective. This ATLAS Elective has been created to help young learners with creative aspirations to have one more skill in their arsenal, evolve their creative thought process, and also aid them in enhancing their respective portfolios.

Introduction to the German Language. With the help of this course, a student will be able to communicate and understand basic German. It will also enable the student to gauge his /her interest in the language and to take it up as professional studies.

We have been witness to a rich intermingling of art, and craft, which has traveled across trade routes as well. The different styles that have come through have altered practices, patterns, motifs, surface embellishments, of finery and detail, and so on. The course would try and understand the various nuances that have contributed to fashion and their underlying method as we know it today.

Is film editing purely technical? Does it affect storytelling and emotions in a film? In an effort to understand these and more, we shall foray into how editing heavily influences cinema as a narrative/non-narrative art form.

Natak Mandali will be an experiential course where through various exercises, activities, and games, we explore storytelling on the stage.
