ATLAS Global Village brings exciting competitions with a cultural twist

Global Village, the biggest intra-club event of ATLAS presented exciting and challenging competitions this year with a focus on bringing out cultural ethnicity, authenticity and heritage existing worldwide. Six student clubs of the university participated in the event representing six different countries- Agile (Brazil), ATLAS INC (Egypt), STAGE (UAE), ATLAS Rotaract Club (Italy), Futurepreneurs (Australia) and Fintrust (Portugal).

Day 1 began with Cluminati, a mix of a treasure hunt & scavenger hunt followed by fascinating competitions like Ancient Artes (Bringing out the native art form of a particular country) and Mr. & Ms. Global Village (talent & personality hunt).

Day 2 became all the more exciting with Pitch & Switch (Pitch presentations) and Culinary Connoisseurs (culinary competition). The Fashion Fusion competition was the highlight of the day that combined ramp walk and dance performances. The show-stoppers’ outfits in this show were designed by the participants from scratch.

The event wrapped up with a closing ceremony on day 2 which saw organisers and participants take to the stage and share their experiences.
