ATLAS | ISME MBA Students Attend IAA Tech Pulse 2023 Conference


ATLAS SkillTech University provided its first-year MBA students with an incredible opportunity to attend IAA Tech Pulse 2023, a day-long conference that aimed to demystify digital transformation and explore new conversations and trends with leading marketers, creators, and publishers. The event was divided into seven segments, each focusing on various topics, including creativity in web 3.0, embracing technology, artificial and actual intelligence, data-led storytelling, riding the opportunity wave and measurement & insights. The speakers’ panel included renowned names like Karthi Marshan, Advisor, Kotak Bank, Satya Raghavan, Director, Marketing Partners, Google India, Charulata Ravi Kumar, MD, Accenture, Derric Grey, Chief-Measurement Science & Business Analytics, BARC India, Ankit Desai, Head- Media & Digital Marketing, Marico, L V Krishnan, CEO, TAM India Research, Sanjay Sindhwani, CEO, Indian Express Digital Business Leader, Investor, Amar Jaleel, Ex-Group CCO & Chairman, MullenLowe Lintas Group and many others.
Valuable insights and learning opportunities
The conference provided valuable insights and learning opportunities for the students. The discussions in different sessions revealed several interesting takeaways. For instance, the new world comprises five key elements: DATA, evolution of digital content, changing definition of media, universe of AI and transformation in META. The usage of data has increased tremendously, with the transformation in usage of data from 1GB per month to 3GB per day. The panelists also discussed the competition among 14 companies to provide network to just four remaining.

Digital landscape
The conference also explored the transformation in the usage of automation and development of EVs and the potential marketing strategies associated with them. The discussion also emphasised the significance of content in the current digital landscape. With the attention span of people getting shorter, content needs to be precise and able to provide more views in less time.
AI and AR changing the advertising space
One of the speakers, Mr. Neeraj Ruparel, shared his insights on how AI and AR are changing the advertising space. He stressed the need for humans to keep up with technology in this ever-evolving tech world. The fireside chat with Megha Tata revealed the vastness of the animation industry and how digital and traditional platforms need to work hand in hand.
Technology and consumer mindset

The conference also explored the complexities of measuring digital media ROI and the challenges faced by marketers in the conversational AI era. The panelists provided innovative solutions to overcome these challenges. Karthi Marshan highlighted the importance of the intersection between technology and consumer mindset in creating effective marketing strategies. Charulata Ravi Kumar discussed the critical role of human factors in successfully implementing reinvention strategies. Neeraj Roy shared his thoughts on India’s digital landscape, key trends, and the future of AI.

The immersive experience hub at the event provided the students with a hands-on experience of AR, VR, Metaverse, Data-enrichment, MI, AI and more. The exclusive workshops on Programmatic, Data Enhancement, and Customer Profile Creation were also insightful.

The convention was a treasure trove of insights, featuring a diverse line-up of speakers who shared their unique perspectives on the same topic. From marketing to ad agencies to security, all facets of digitalisation were covered. As an aspiring marketer, I found the session to be immensely valuable, and left with plenty of food for thought.
