The ATLAS team led by Dr Indu Shahani – President & Chancellor of ATLAS SkillTech University along with Ms Meena Krishna – Pro Vice Chancellor – Academic Operations were hosted at Parsons The New School by Dr. Dwight A. McBride, President, Renée T. White, Provost, Executive Vice President, and Professor of Sociology, Yvonne Watson, Interim Executive Dean and Rory O’ Dea Assistant Professor International Partnerships on 7th November 2022.
This meeting was the start of a fruitful relationship with both universities desirous of creating a meaningful association that will impact the student community at large.
Parsons The New School and ATLAS are working on progression and scholarship opportunities for Master’s Programs at Parsons. The delegation also exchanged views on transnational engagements, student mobility, and joint faculty research. Discussions were also held around Summer School, Global Immersion and Semester Exchange for ATLAS students.
About Parsons School of Design
Parsons School of Design, known colloquially as Parsons, is a private art and design college located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City. Founded in 1896 after a group of progressive artists broke away from established Manhattan art academies in protest of limited creative autonomy, Parsons is one of the oldest schools of art and design in New York.
