Dr. Siamak Zadeh from Golden Gate University (US) conducts a Masterclass on Disruption of Industry by Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Our latest Masterclass session featured international faculty Dr. Siamak Zadeh, Data Scientist & Director of Data Analytics Program, Golden Gate University. His insightful session with our students decoded Disruption of Industry by Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

With over 30 years of academic and IT experience, Dr. Zadeh has worked for leading tech organisations like IBM Research and Oracle, developing Business strategies and product specifications for use and application of digital transformation and analytics to business problems and challenges. His interactive session reflected his vast experience in this field as he unfolded data explosion, history of computers, advent of internet transforming traditional way of commerce, role of data science in collecting, organising, storing and accessing data and the applications of AI in different fields like medical, radio science, marketing, content creation, retail & films.

Artificial Intelligence is not a replacement of Human Intelligence. Human-machine interface is complementary and it enhances the capabilities and strengths of each other

Filled with interesting examples like applications of AI in detecting financial frauds, computer aided detection diagnosis in medical field, mood analysis using AI, AI based chatbots, Robots used in manufacturing, application of AIML in drones, flying objects and much more; Dr. Zadeh’s invaluable insights on how AI is penetrating and transforming different industries left our students spellbound.
