Outbound Trip to Chandigarh

Outbound Trip to Chandigarh was one of the best on-site learning experiences for our Product Design students with exposure to different industries like Campus Shoe Factory, Riddhi Packaging and Kandhari Beverages. The students learnt about the manufacturing process and how to plan easy and efficient designs for maximum output with minimal labour and the materiality in packaging. A visit to Deepak Spinning Company gave them exposure to yarn making including dyeing, drying, separating, spinning, heating and drafting.

The study tour also helped students to foster connections with the local craftsmen making utensils and musical instruments and various artists at Le Corbusier Museum.
