Product Design Project by Dhriti Nimla

Our Product Design student Driti Nimla, through her project NUCLiEYE embarks the transitioning journey from acceptance to inclusion in the society for the visually impaired. It is a dual faceted solution with two touch points, the NucliEye Application and the Smart cane.

The app is targeted towards the visually impaired individuals to gain equal opportunity in accessing the world. The visually impaired can register their services on the platform and can earn a living. The application also connects impaired users to volunteers for live assistance. The NucliEye Cane is an electronic mobility aid for blind individuals that is integrated to the application in order to keep their one hand-free from carrying their phones while navigating.

Driti aims to build a community for people with & without disabilities through her project by creating a platform to meet, converse & empathize.
