Product Design Project by Urja Doshi

Our Product Design student Urja Doshi, in her project Spell’O Magic, uses Kaleidoscope as an educational tool for children with learning disabilities. It is a fun, engaging tool that helps children pronounce and read words while also developing their motor skills.
Language and motor skills play an important role in the development of a child, both emotionally and socially. Young children with learning disabilities often struggle in one or more of these areas. Using gamification as a teaching tool has been more successful in engaging and maintaining the interest of a child, particularly children with learning disabilities. Spell’O Magic is designed keeping these factors in mind. It can be used in both classroom and home environment.
