Clothing that goes beyond the idea of gender

Our Fashion Design student Mehek Doshi has created clothing that goes Beyond the idea of Gender for her project ‘Beyond Gender’. She uses clothing as a unifier in a future of multiple gender identities & expressions.

Her thesis aims to envision of future of harmonious and inclusive co-existence of multiple genders, while each retaining their unique attributes and characteristics. Through clothing she seeks to imagine a post-gender societal time, where the idea of gender becomes blurred and expression of identities becomes the crux of societal structures.
