1,918 Dreams, Thousands of Cheers, One Unforgettable Day: Inside ATLAS SkillTech University’s Convocation 2026
There were cheers when names were announced. Proud tears as graduates crossed the stage. Tight hugs between friends who had spent years learning, creating and growing together. Parents couldn’t stop smiling as they watched their children receive the degrees they had worked so hard for. That was the spirit of ATLAS SkillTech University’s Convocation 2026.
On 4 July 2026, the Jio World Convention Centre became the backdrop for one of the most memorable days in the University’s history, as 1,918 graduates from ISDI – School of Design & Innovation, ATLAS ISME – School of Management & Entrepreneurship and ATLAS uGDX – School of Technology crossed the stage to receive their degrees.
With over 9,000 students, parents, faculty members, industry leaders, alumni and distinguished guests in attendance and graduates representing 443 cities across India, the ceremony was more than a convocation. It was a powerful reminder of what happens when talent meets opportunity.
A Celebration of Every Journey
Every graduate walked onto the stage carrying a story.
Some arrived at ATLAS with entrepreneurial dreams. Others discovered their passion for design, technology, business or innovation during their academic journey. Many stepped out of their comfort zones, collaborated across disciplines, worked with industry mentors, built portfolios, launched startups, secured global opportunities and prepared themselves for careers that didn’t even exist a couple of years ago.
Convocation brought all those individual journeys together in one extraordinary celebration.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Ronnie Screwvala, Chairperson & Co-Founder, upGrad, who inspired the graduating class with a message that challenged them to think differently about leadership and impact.
His advice was both simple and profound:
“Don’t just become problem solvers, become problem spotters.”
In a world changing faster than ever, the greatest opportunities belong to those who can identify problems before everyone else.
He left graduates with another thought that resonated across the auditorium:
“No country is perfect. It is up to you to make it better.”

Addressing the graduating class and their families, Dr Indu Shahani, Founding President & Chancellor, ATLAS SkillTech University, reflected on the University’s mission with a heartfelt message to parents.
“Parents, you entrusted us with what mattered most to you. Today, we proudly return to you graduates who are ready to shape the future.”
Her address celebrated the unique strengths of every school while highlighting the shared philosophy that unites every ATLAS graduate.
She reminded the audience that:

She concluded with a thought that perfectly captures the spirit of the University:
“You may carry different degrees, but you all graduate with one shared strength—ATLAS Intelligence.”
That intelligence is more than academic excellence. It is curiosity, creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, adaptability, empathy and the confidence to lead change.
