Team Spice Jet led by Het Mehta emerged as the winner in Marketing Mania

Team Spice Jet, led by Het Mehta, emerged as the winner in the flagship program “Marketing Mania” by ATLAS SkillTech University. The event challenged students to revive a brand using marketing strategies like relaunching and repositioning. Out of the 15 teams that participated, five were selected for the grand finale, where they presented their strategies in front of industry experts.

The judges were distinguished industry experts with significant experience in marketing and business management. These experts included Mr. Yuvaraj Pawar, Director of Integrity Consults and Co-founder of Inspired Consults, Ms. Monica Sood Bhatia, Founder & Managing Director of Medesta Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Ms. Somya Paramguru, Digital Marketing Expert and Senior Executive at Mirum, and Ms. Vinita Rajani, Marketing Head at Esotico Cosmetic Care Pvt Ltd and Box n freight Logistics.

The students impressed the judges with their innovative marketing strategies, creativity and presentation skills. Het Mehta’s team Spice Jet emerged as the winner, while Team Snap Deal was the first runner-up. The event presented a wonderful opportunity to all the participants to learn from industry experts, and gain valuable experience for their future careers.

Importance of the Marketing Mania

“Marketing Mania” provided a platform for students to showcase their skills, knowledge, and creativity in a real-world scenario. It not only helped students gain valuable experience, but also gave them exposure to industry experts who can provide guidance and mentorship. By working on a challenging project like reviving a brand using marketing strategies, students enhanced their problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork abilities. In addition, the event offered an opportunity for students to network with professionals from various industries, which can open up new doors for their future careers.

With more than 28 years of experience, Mr. Yuvaraj Pawar is a seasoned business manager with expertise in management, process improvement, sales and marketing, client relationship management, and distribution management. He has previously worked with reputable institutions such as Yes Bank, HDFC Securities, and Standard Chartered Bank. Additionally, he is also a certified NLP trainer.

Ms. Monica Sood Bhatia

With 25 years of experience in leading healthcare businesses such as CIMS Medica and FCB Ulka Health in India and the UAE, Ms. Monica Sood Bhatia is an accomplished and innovative business leader. Alongside her medical qualification, she also holds an MBA in Leadership Education from Harvard Business School. Ms. Bhatia is renowned for her passion and expertise in marketing and distribution, and is widely recognized as one of the most celebrated women achievers in India.

Ms. Somya Paramguru

Digital Marketing Expert and Senior Executive – Brand Management Mirum (WPP group company)

Ms. Somya Paramguru’s expertise lies in devising effective digital marketing strategies, crafting compelling content, and analyzing the outcomes of various digital campaigns. Her foray into client servicing and brand management is a testament to her drive to expand her knowledge and capabilities in the marketing domain. She has spearheaded the digital marketing initiatives for nearly 25 renowned brands in India.

Ms. Vinita Rajani

Marketing Head at Esotico Cosmetic Care Pvt Ltd and Box n freight Logistics

With an MBA in marketing from KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, she has established herself as an accomplished marketing professional with 15 years of experience in several companies, including Fevicol, Godrej, and Consumer Care. Her expertise lies in branding and marketing, and she has launched nearly 15 successful brands in the Indian market. Her passion for marketing is evident in her work as she has served as the branding and marketing head in her previous roles.
