  • PublishedOctober 8, 2025

This year’s Studio Day at ISDI was nothing short of inspiring—a vibrant showcase of design innovation, storytelling and problem-solving that brought together students, faculty and parents in an unforgettable celebration of creativity. Held across the ISDI campus, the event transformed classrooms and studios into immersive galleries where ideas took center stage and the power of design was on full display.

What made this year’s Studio Day even more special was the active participation of parents and faculty, who came together to experience, discuss and celebrate the hard work of students. The conversations went beyond admiration; they became opportunities for mentorship, guidance, and a deeper understanding of the design journey.

From futuristic concepts to problem-solving prototypes, Studio Day reflected the creative journeys of budding designers across ISDI’s seven specialisations. Let’s take a closer look at how each design discipline came alive during the event:

Fashion Design

A highlight of Studio Day was the Fashion Design showcase, where creativity was stitched with craftsmanship. Students presented collections that explored sustainability, cultural heritage and futuristic aesthetics. Each garment reflected not just personal expression but also the values of innovation and responsibility in today’s fashion ecosystem.

Communication Design

In a world where messages matter, Communication Design students showcased impactful visual narratives. Their projects ranged from branding and advertising campaigns to digital interfaces and editorial design—highlighting how design thinking can transform the way people perceive and interact with information. Bold typography, immersive graphics and human-centered solutions turned their exhibits into powerful communication tools.

Fashion Communication & Styling

The world of fashion thrives on storytelling—and students from Fashion Communication & Styling brought that narrative to life through visual identities, trend forecasts and creative styling projects. Their displays showed how fashion is more than clothing—it’s a language of self-expression, culture and communication.

Interior Design

From intimate living spaces to futuristic public environments, Interior Design students reimagined the way we inhabit the world. Their projects balanced functionality with aesthetics, offering design solutions that were immersive, practical and sustainable. Interactive models and 3D walkthroughs invited viewers to step into the future of spatial design.

Product Design

Studio Day wouldn’t be complete without the creativity of Product Design students. Their prototypes tackled real-world challenges with empathy and innovation—ranging from everyday consumer products to futuristic mobility solutions. Each design reflected the blend of form, function, and sustainability, reminding us how products shape our lifestyles.

Animation & VFX

Students of Animation & VFX transported audiences into worlds beyond imagination. With storytelling at the heart of their work, they demonstrated how design, motion, and technology can merge to create cinematic experiences. From short films and 3D models to special effects that push the boundaries of reality, this specialisation brought a new dimension of visual storytelling to Studio Day.

Strategic Design & Management

At the intersection of design and business, students from Strategic Design & Management presented ideas that combined creativity with strategy. Their work included business models, market innovations, and design-led entrepreneurship projects that emphasized the role of design in driving meaningful change at a systemic level.

A Canvas of Collective Creativity

ATLAS Studio Day is more than an academic showcase—it’s a testament to how design can influence culture, society, and industry. The energy, collaboration, and passion displayed across all seven specializations underscored ISDI’s vision of nurturing future leaders who design for impact. As the curtains closed on this year’s Studio Day, one thing was clear: at ISDI, design is not just taught—it is lived, experienced, and celebrated.
