Visiting prestigious institutions like Columbia University School of Professional Studies, NYU SPS, Pace University, Fordham Gabelli School of Business and Parsons School of Design | The New School, students engaged in diverse sessions spanning GPT, Finance, Sustainability and Design. Industry engagements with Bloomberg, ICICI Bank, MRM, Arcesium and Zoo Media provided invaluable real-world insights to students. Led by Prof Meena Desai, Director Undergraduate Programs and Mr. Kunal Ramchandani, Director- Student Experience, the ATLAS delegation also sought collaborative opportunities for ATLAS students.

Day 1
ATLAS Students At Columbia University School of Professional Studies
During their New York Immersion, ATLAS SkillTech University students embarked on a visit to Columbia University School of Professional Studies, engaging in an enlightening session led by Prof David Romoff.
Students delved into GPT’s applications, implications and limitations across diverse domains like finance, sustainability and entrepreneurship. The discussions encompassed GPT’s structure, mathematical aspects and real-world industry applications, offering insights into decision-making using AI. Expert-led discussions unveiled GPT’s impact on academia and industries while focusing on threats, opportunities and the interplay between human intellect and GPT capabilities.
ATLAS Scholars At Fordham Gabelli School Of Business
ATLAS students were privileged to participate in an exclusive session hosted by Prof Mario Difiore at the esteemed Fordham Gabelli School of Business. The session was a comprehensive exploration of finance, value investing and behavioural psychology in decision-making. Students engaged in discussions on value investing methodologies, the impact of cognition on rational decision-making and correlations between behavior and risk management.

ATLAS Empowers Students With Global Industry Exposure Through Bloomberg Immersion
Recently, the university orchestrated an immersive session at the Bloomberg Headquarters in New York, led by Nolan Smith, a distinguished professional at Bloomberg. This experience provided students with a transformative understanding of financial technology and media, transcending conventional boundaries of learning.
The session delved deep into Bloomberg’s core, spotlighting its revolutionary Bloomberg Terminal and elucidating its global impact. Students were exposed to a plethora of insights encompassing financial analytics, market relevance, and Bloomberg’s adept response to dynamic scenarios such as the onset of COVID-19.
ATLAS Students Explore Pace University- Lubin School Of Business
Students participated in an enlightening session at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. Here, they gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship, discovering the essence of innovation and value creation within the business landscape.

ATLAS Scholars Complete Intensive 3-Day Certification Program at NYU SPS, New York
During the expansive Immersion Program in New York, ATLAS scholars completed a rigorous 3-day certification program at the prestigious New York University School of Professional Studies. Immersed in engaging sessions led by esteemed senior faculty members, they delved into a diverse array of captivating topics.
The program was a catalyst for transformative thinking, empowering students to design life paths resonating with their passions and equipped with innovative ideas for future endeavours.
Exploring Sports Management
The session at NYU School of Professional Studies, led by Prof. David Hollander from the Tisch Institute for Sports, delved into the multifaceted world of sports management. Students were immersed in understanding the business and organisational facets of the sports industry, learning about the diverse opportunities within sports management.
The session shed light on sports management as a business dealing with the organisation and administration of sports events, teams and marketing strategies. Discussions highlighted the distinction between business and sports business, emphasising the unique concept of “basking in reflected glory” within the sports industry.
Exploring Luxury Branding Dynamics
The session with Prof Marc Beckman at NYU School of Professional Studies on Luxury Branding unveiled a panorama of disruptive forces reshaping the contemporary landscape of brand marketing and technology integration. Discussions revolved around blockchain disruptions, the metaverse’s influence and the intersection of luxury branding with AI and tech innovations.
The session delved into the transformative impact of technologies like NERF, AI, and blockchain on luxury branding, emphasising adaptive strategies for companies. Topics spanned from EV relevance and sustainability to the evolution of luxury branding in the metaverse and the integration of NFTs into physical products.

Discussions delved into vital sustainability aspects: carbon credits’ role in emissions reduction, policy landscapes regarding EVs, and corporate strategies for sustainability.
Key takeaways emphasised the multifaceted nature of environmental protection and the significance of governmental, corporate, and societal roles in achieving global sustainability goals.
