We believe in harnessing nature’s resources to create a more sustainable and eco-friendly campus. As part of this commitment to environmental conservation, a comprehensive rainwater harvesting system has been implemented to collect and store rainwater for various uses across the campus.
Storage tanks
As part of our broader sustainability goals, Atlas University plans to increase the number and capacity of our rainwater storage tanks, ensuring that we can continue to meet the campus’s growing water needs in an eco-friendly way.
Water Recycling
At Atlas University, we are dedicated to sustainability through advanced technologies that reduce, reuse, and recycle water across our campus. As part of our environmental strategy, we have implemented a wastewater recycling system that significantly conserves water and minimizes our environmental footprint.
Borewell
At Atlas University, borewell water is used for irrigation, ensuring a steady supply for campus greenery. The water is pumped, stored, and distributed efficiently, reducing reliance on external water sources. This efficient use of borewell water helps sustain the campus landscaping while minimizing reliance on external water sources.
Solar Power Plant | Sustainable Energy
Atlas is committed to sustainability through the use of renewable energy. Our on-campus solar power plant harnesses the sun’s energy to generate clean electricity, reducing our dependence on conventional power sources.
Biogas
We are committed to sustainability and innovation, which is why a biogas plant has been implemented on campus. The plant converts organic waste into renewable energy, offering an eco-friendly solution to waste management and energy generation.
Led Bulbs
To promote energy efficiency, we have adopted LED bulbs and power-efficient equipment across campus. These energy-saving technologies help reduce electricity consumption, lower carbon emissions, and contribute to a more sustainable campus environment.
