Overseas Tours that include University Visits, Industrial Visits & Workshops.

ATLAS students get the opportunity to visit a foreign country for a study excursion which involves academic sessions at leading partner universities as well as curated industry sessions to develop a global learning mindset. Students also get a cultural understanding of a country and they would have activities and practical nuances of how businesses and industries function.

The Global Immersion program is filled with unique hands on learning experiences for students with very interactive learning techniques combined with activities, worksheets, case studies and group presentations.

Experiences of ATLAS Students

at Global

Immersions

UK 

ATLAS students embarked on a Global Immersion to London to visit leading Universities like London School of Economics, London Business School, Oxford Somerville College, Nottingham Trent University, University of Westminster among other leading Universities. These Universities curated academic sessions and workshops for our students led by their faculty.

The students also got a chance to explore the cultural nuances of UK and also visited corporate offices of Deloitte, WPP Group, London Stock Exchange, Canary Wharf Financial District and the Mini Cooper Factory which gave them a real life experience in production and logistics. The immersion also got students to explore popular tourist spots in London like the Tower of London, London Eye and the Museum of Brands.

USA

ATLAS students got a chance to visit USA for a Global Immersion. The visit included visits to Universities like Columbia University, MIT Media Labs, NJCU, Rutgers Business School, PACE University, New York Film Academy. Each of these University visits gave our students a chance to experience the academic rigour and experiential sessions.

Students also got a chance to visit and experience corporate USA by curated visits to the offices of institutions like Google, Samsung, Bloomberg, United Nations, Red Fuse and the New York Stock Exchange. The immersion also had cultural and entrepreneurial experiences for students and helped them explore the diversity and global cultural, financial, entertainment, and media hubs in New York.

Dubai

ATLAS Management students set out on an experimental, yet exciting and promising global immersion program to Dubai. Students got a chance to explore the city and got acquainted with one of the world’s most futuristic cities. Students had a blend of classroom sessions, corporate immersions, entrepreneurial activities and also got chance to explore the ever-growing Retail Industry in Dubai.

Our students had experiential lectures in Design Thinking, Innovation, Idea Generation & Incubation, Storyboarding and Planning, Smart cities and Sustainability which all culminated into a grand Business Challenge with an elevator pitch competition where students showcased their entrepreneurial ideas. They also visited the Dubai Technology Entrepreneurship Centre (DTEC) and the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX). Students also got to see the tourism industry in Dubai and experienced the Dessert Safari and Dubai Mall as well.

Paris

Our Design students reached the fashion capital of the world- Paris to learn from the best in the global fashion world. As a part of this immersive excursion, they got a chance to be tête-à-tête with the high-end fashion industry in Paris and its key actors from designers to retailers. Through visits to Paris luxury stores and workshops with experts, students gained a broad understanding of today’s fashion business.

The students also attended a session by Jase King at International Fashion Academy (IFA), Paris and also took a course on Fashion Event Planning in Paris. They learnt ‘ins and outs’ of producing a meaningful Fashion Event by producing unique experiences and using publicity tools and social media to build buzz. The students also worked on ‘mood boarding’ for the final runway.
