A defining moment of Mumbai Tech Week 2026 for ATLAS uGDX students was the hosting of AI Engineers Day on campus as an exclusive pre-event in collaboration with OpenAI and Peak XV Partners.


The event brought together more than 200 AI builders, engineers, founders, innovators and B.Tech students, creating a vibrant environment for learning, collaboration and knowledge sharing. Students had the unique opportunity to participate in conversations focused on real-world AI systems, multimodal agents and the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence ecosystem.


A key highlight was the session by Thomas Jeng, APAC Head of Startups at OpenAI, who shared valuable insights into how AI is transforming industries and unlocking new possibilities across sectors.
