The first year of the 5-year Integrated BBA LL.B. (Honors) program at ATLAS SkillTech University is designed to provide a strong foundation in both business administration and law. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that students are well-prepared to tackle both the business and legal challenges of the future.

In the first year, students will study fundamental subjects like Principles of Management and Marketing Management, which introduce key concepts in business operations and strategies. They will also gain a solid grounding in Financial Accounting and Microeconomics, providing insights into the financial and economic aspects of business management. The program further enriches the academic experience with essential legal subjects such as Legal Methods, Jurisprudence, and Law of Torts, which lay the groundwork for understanding the complexities of the legal system.

The curriculum also incorporates interdisciplinary subjects like Introduction to Sociology and English Language Skills, ensuring that students develop strong communication and analytical skills. Organizational Behaviour and Macroeconomics offer an understanding of human behavior within organizations and the broader economic environment, respectively. Additionally, Family Law I, Environmental Studies, and Legal Technology provide students with diverse perspectives on social issues, legal developments, and emerging technologies in the legal field.

By the end of the first year, students will have developed a comprehensive understanding of both the business and legal domains, setting the stage for more specialized and advanced learning in subsequent years.

The second year deepens students’ understanding of both legal and business principles, moving from foundational knowledge to more specialized areas of law and business management. This year is designed to enhance students’ analytical and practical skills, preparing them for the complexities of real-world corporate and legal environments.

In the second year, students will delve into essential legal subjects, such as Corporate Law, which focuses on the legal frameworks governing businesses and their operations, and Constitutional Law I and Constitutional Law II, which cover the structure, powers, and functions of the government as well as constitutional rights. Administrative Law explores the regulations and practices that govern administrative agencies, while Law of Evidence equips students with the principles and rules governing the admissibility of evidence in legal proceedings.

On the business side, students will study Financial Management and Human Resource Management, both of which are crucial for effective management and operations in any organization. Strategic Management introduces concepts for long-term business planning and competitive advantage, while Business Ethics examines the moral and ethical challenges businesses face in today’s world.

This year also includes a focus on Legal Research Methodology, developing students’ ability to conduct effective legal research, which is crucial for both academic and professional success. Additionally, Psychology for Lawyers provides insights into human behavior, a vital aspect for any legal professional, especially in understanding clients, juries, and witnesses.

The program includes an Internship I (Fieldwork), giving students valuable practical exposure to the legal profession, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life scenarios. Finally, students have the opportunity to choose an Elective I, allowing them to explore an area of interest in greater depth.

By the end of the second year, students will have developed a comprehensive understanding of both corporate and legal frameworks, while also gaining practical experience to prepare them for the increasingly complex and dynamic world of business and law.

The third year is designed to offer students an in-depth exploration of key areas in both criminal law and corporate law, alongside advanced topics in business law and dispute resolution. This year emphasizes specialization, helping students refine their legal expertise while continuing to build on the foundational knowledge from the previous years.

The legal curriculum in year three includes essential subjects such as Criminal Law I and Criminal Law II, where students gain a comprehensive understanding of criminal offenses, defenses, and procedures, including advanced concepts in criminal law. Property Law delves into the rights and duties concerning real and personal property, while Intellectual Property Rights focuses on protecting innovations and creative works in the global marketplace.

In the business law domain, students will study Corporate Governance, a critical area that covers the practices, policies, and regulations governing the management and control of corporations. Labour and Industrial Law addresses legal issues related to employment, labor rights, and industrial relations, preparing students for a deep understanding of workplace law.

Students also have the opportunity to choose an Elective II and Elective III, allowing them to tailor their education to their specific interests and career goals. Whether focusing on niche areas of law or business, electives provide the flexibility for specialization and deeper knowledge in a chosen field.

The Internship II (Course Observation) component allows students to gain firsthand experience in a professional legal or business environment, observing and learning from experienced practitioners. This practical exposure enhances students’ understanding of real-world applications of law and business principles.

Additionally, the Clinical Course: ADR & Drafting offers students practical skills in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods such as mediation and arbitration, as well as legal drafting. These skills are essential for resolving legal disputes outside the courtroom and for drafting precise legal documents.

By the end of the third year, students will have acquired advanced legal knowledge in both criminal and business law, along with the practical skills necessary for successful careers in law, corporate governance, and dispute resolution. This year prepares them to handle complex legal and business challenges in a globalized world.

The fourth year is focused on advanced legal education, offering students a deeper understanding of critical areas of law and their practical application. This year emphasizes global legal perspectives, professional ethics, and specialized subjects, preparing students for the complexities of practicing law in both domestic and international arenas.

In year four, students will study Human Rights Law, which examines the protection and promotion of fundamental rights and freedoms across the globe. Public International Law provides insights into the legal frameworks governing relations between countries, international organizations, and individuals, while Comparative Constitutional Law explores constitutional principles across different jurisdictions, allowing students to appreciate the diversity in legal systems.

Civil Procedure Code & Limitation Act covers the procedures for civil litigation and the time limitations for bringing legal actions. Professional Ethics and Accounting & System is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the ethical standards required of legal professionals, along with an understanding of accounting practices relevant to legal work.

Investment Law focuses on the legal aspects of investment, including regulatory frameworks and mechanisms governing investments both domestically and internationally. Students will also engage with their Specialization Subject I and Specialization Subject II, giving them the opportunity to tailor their legal education toward specific areas of interest, such as commercial law, intellectual property, or international trade law.

Taxation Law addresses the complex and evolving landscape of tax regulations, including corporate and individual taxation, and the legal implications of tax planning.

The Clinical Course: Drafting and Pleading will equip students with the essential skills of drafting legal documents and preparing pleadings for court, which are crucial for any legal practitioner. The course emphasizes practical learning, ensuring students gain firsthand experience in the drafting process.

Additionally, the Internship IV (Corporate/Legal Firms) offers students the chance to gain practical exposure in either corporate law or legal firms, where they can observe and participate in real-world legal work, applying their knowledge and honing their skills in a professional environment.

By the end of the fourth year, students will have developed advanced expertise in key areas of law, a strong understanding of legal ethics, and practical skills that are necessary for success in both litigation and corporate settings. The fifth and final year is designed to consolidate students’ legal education, focusing on advanced legal topics, emerging areas of law, and preparing them for professional practice. This year emphasizes practical skills, in-depth research, and specialized knowledge, ensuring that students are fully equipped to succeed in their legal careers, whether in litigation, corporate law, or other specialized fields.

In year five, students will explore Arbitration and ADR Mechanisms, where they will gain a comprehensive understanding of alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation, arbitration, and negotiation. These are vital skills for any legal professional, especially in a world where out-of-court settlements are increasingly preferred. Cyber Law and Data Protection covers the legal aspects of digital technologies, focusing on issues like data privacy, cybersecurity, and the legal protections related to online activities.

The year also includes Law and Emerging Technologies, where students will explore how technological advancements, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and biotechnology, are shaping the legal landscape. These cutting-edge areas of law are essential for the modern legal practitioner, and students will gain insight into how laws are adapting to rapidly evolving technologies.

Students will continue to specialize with Specialization Subject III and Specialization Subject IV, allowing them to focus on areas of law they are most passionate about, whether it’s intellectual property, international trade law, or any other specialized field. These subjects provide students with the flexibility to tailor their education to their career aspirations.

The Legal Aid and Pro Bono Services course encourages students to engage in public service by offering legal assistance to those who cannot afford it. This subject emphasizes the importance of access to justice and the role of legal professionals in supporting disadvantaged communities.

Research Project I and the Dissertation provide students with an opportunity to engage in independent legal research on a topic of their choosing. The Final Internship (Corporate/Legal) is a capstone experience, allowing students to apply all they have learned in a professional environment, whether in a corporate legal department, law firm, or other legal setting. By the end of the fifth year, students will have acquired a deep and comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of law, specialized knowledge in areas of their interest, and the professional experience necessary to launch successful legal careers. This final year serves as a bridge to the professional world, preparing students to excel in diverse legal roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global environment.

B.Sc. Finance program at ATLAS is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and practical understanding of the core principles and concepts in finance. Year 1

The first year of the program lays a solid foundation for understanding the core principles of finance and business management. You will begin by exploring the global financial landscape, providing you with an understanding of how financial markets and systems function on a worldwide scale. You’ll also learn about key financial reporting standards that guide financial practices and gain essential skills in Excel for data analysis.
A strong focus will be placed on economics, with modules in strategic microeconomics and macroeconomics for business, ensuring you understand both the individual business level and broader economic context. The year also covers fundamental areas of business communication and management accounting, equipping you with the necessary tools to communicate effectively in the business environment and analyze financial statements.
Through modules such as financial statement analysis and business and corporate law, you’ll develop an understanding of legal frameworks and the key financial indicators that drive business decisions. Additionally, data analytics and visualization will enable you to interpret and present data efficiently, an essential skill in today’s data-driven business world.

You will also engage with an ATLAS Elective in the Semester 1 and Semester 2, which allows you to explore areas of interest and gain additional insight into specific topics within the university ecosystem. Year 2
The second year of the program builds upon the foundational knowledge gained in the first year, diving deeper into advanced financial concepts and practices. You will start with Corporate Finance 1, where you will learn key financial decision-making processes, followed by Corporate Finance 2, which will enhance your understanding of more complex corporate financial strategies.
A key focus will be on understanding taxation through both Direct and Indirect Tax modules, which are vital for analyzing business operations. You’ll also gain expertise in Equity Analysis & Portfolio Management, learning how to assess and manage investment portfolios. Quantitative Techniques in Finance will further develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, using data-driven methods to solve financial challenges.
In today’s business world, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations are critical. You will explore the impact of ESG factors on financial decision-making and corporate strategy. A Social Internship gives you the opportunity to apply your learning in a real-world setting, gaining practical experience while contributing to social causes.
Modules such as Business Psychology will explore human behavior in the business context, offering insights into leadership, team dynamics, and decision-making. You’ll also gain proficiency in Financial Modelling and Analytics, equipping you with the skills to create and interpret financial models for better decision-making.
Foundations of Fintech & Regulatory Policy will introduce you to the cutting-edge world of financial technology and the regulatory landscape surrounding it. Year 3
In the third year, you will deepen your expertise in advanced financial concepts and refine your practical skills to prepare for a successful career in the financial sector. You will begin with Corporate Valuation, where you will learn to assess the value of companies using various financial techniques, followed by an exploration of Financial Markets and Institutions, which will provide a comprehensive understanding of the global financial ecosystem.
A strong emphasis will be placed on Technical Analysis, where you will learn to analyze market trends and make informed investment decisions based on price movements. You’ll also dive into Innovative Financial Analytics, exploring cutting-edge tools and techniques used in modern financial analysis.
As part of your learning, you will explore emerging financial technologies through the module Cryptos, AI, ML, Blockchain and its Application, equipping you with the knowledge of digital currencies and innovative technologies reshaping the finance industry.
The Summer Internship offers hands-on experience in the financial industry, providing a chance to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges. Alongside this, Soft Skills for Finance Professionals 1 will help you develop essential interpersonal and communication skills required for effective client interaction and professional growth in finance.
Modules like Mergers and Acquisitions, Forex and International Finance, and Fixed Income will further enhance your understanding of complex financial transactions, global markets, and investment strategies. Candidates must qualify for the A-LET – ATLAS Law Entrance Test or any national-level law entrance tests such as CLAT/ SLAT/LNAT /AILET/MH-CET Law Entrance Test score.

Stage 2

Personal Interview & Assessment

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an expert-led interview to assess their legal aptitude, business understanding, and communication skills.

Stage 1 – Online Aptitude Test

The Online Aptitude Test, is a comprehensive online aptitude test designed to assess the skills of aspiring candidates seeking admission to the B.Sc. Finance program. The exam consists of three distinct sections: Quantitative, Verbal, and Logical, which together carry a total weightage of 80% in the entrance exam evaluation.

Stage 2 – Personal Interview
The interview for the ATLAS B.Sc. Finance program plays a crucial role in the selection process, carrying a weightage of 20% alongside the online aptitude test. This interview provides an opportunity for candidates to showcase their personal qualities, communication skills, and passion for pursuing a career in finance. It serves as an extension of the ABET exam, allowing the selection panel to assess the candidate’s ability to articulate ideas clearly, demonstrate problem-solving capabilities, and exhibit a genuine interest in the subject.
