3D Animation & VFX students visit Studio Eeksaurus

Visiting Studio Eeksaurus was a unique immersive learning opportunity for our third-year 3D Animation & VFX students that was not limited to experiencing the latest technology. It extended to understanding Claymation, the production quality of stop motion animation and current trends driving entertainment and advertising.
The students also got a chance to meet and interact with the Founder & Creative Director of Studio Eeksaurus Mr Suresh Eriyat who has bagged National honours for his short animation film Fisherwoman and Tuk-Tuk in the Best Animation Film category.
Experiential learning opportunities like this go a long way towards solidifying the knowledge students acquire in the classroom.

BBA students visit the Bombay Stock Exchange

Our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students visited the Bombay Stock Exchange as a part of their industry visit. It was a dream come true for all the young finance enthusiasts and business aficionados to be inside the building. Over 250 students across the BBA program visited the ring where the trading took place in the 1980’s and 1990′ s and were fascinated with the history. The students also participated in a session on Capital Markets by Prof. Rakesh Nair, Senior faculty and Trainer at the BSE Institute followed by a question and answer session.
The visit enabled our students to enhance their knowledge of the overall working of the stock exchange.

ATLAS ISDI Fellow Adesh Bhansali conducts a session on Building your UX portfolio

UX portfolio reflects who you are as a designer by showcasing your strengths in a way that appeals to your audience and helps you land your UX design job. ATLAS ISDI Fellow Adesh Bhansali, Design Lead at Lollypop Design conducted a session on ‘Building your UX portfolio’ for our design students. He shared real-world insights into how to create a portfolio, different formats and what hiring managers are looking for in a portfolio.
Some key takeaways from his session are:
– Your UX-design portfolio must showcase who you are as a designer: your areas of expertise, strengths, processes and design styles
– Before designing your portfolio, prioritize what you want to communicate. What are the top three things about you and your work that a reader of your portfolio should take away? Revisit this question once your portfolio is complete to be sure you have achieved your goal.

Founders of MyMandionline.com launch ATLAS Entrepreneurship Cafe

Mahanaaryaman Scindia, Founder, CFO & COO, MyMandionline.com and Suryansh Rana, Founder, CTO, MyMandionline.com visited our campus to interact with the students of ATLAS ISME – School of Management & Entrepreneurship. On this occasion, our BBA students also launched the ATLAS Entrepreneurship Cafe, a platform that enables peer-to-peer discussions, industry connections, knowledge and skills growth and networking opportunities. Our Entrepreneurship Mentor Govind Shorewala also attended the launch along with Dr Indu Shahani, Founding President and Chancellor, ATLAS SkillTech University, Prof Heena Thakkar, Pro Vice Chancellor, ATLAS SkillTech University, Prof Meena Desai, Dean- Undergraduate Program, Admissions & Partnerships, ATLAS SkillTech University.

Ms. Amy Dally Gardner, Associate Dean, Director, Graduate Recruitment, Clark University Visits ATLAS

The meeting was crucial for ATLAS SkillTech University’s endeavour in developing partnerships with outstanding academic institutions across the globe to expand the student experience, faculty growth and contributions and the impact of SkillTech education.
Team ATLAS offered Ms Gardner a walk-through of our high-tech urban campus and presented the propounding work ATLAS has been doing in the field of SkillTech education across Design, Management and Digital Technology. Together we discussed ways of collaboration across student mobility, faculty mobility, student immersions, short certification courses, summer school programs, winter school programs and faculty exchange.

ATLAS Global Immersion Program to London, United Kingdom

The recent ATLAS Global Immersion Program to London, United Kingdom, engaged 41 ATLAS students from across 3 different programs. They visited 10 top-ranked universities & colleges including University of Oxford, London School of Economics, University of Westminster & many others. The students also enjoyed a unique industry-immersive experience with an opportunity to visit Canary Wharf, a part of London’s central business district, and the Deloitte office in London.

Ten of ATLAS students attended TIECON Mumbai 2022 organised at Jio World Convention Centre at the hop, skip and jump distance from our campus. With the participation of 45+ unicorns and 100+ industry speakers, it was a golden chance for our students to attend engaging sessions by India’s top Industrialists, Corporate Business Leaders & Honchos, Investment Bankers, Investors, Analysts and start-up Founders.
