Biography

Dr. Justin Paul, currently serves as Editor-in-chief of International Journal of Consumer Studies (IJCS), a 45-year-old, global academic journal ranked as A grade by Australian Business Deans Council. A former faculty member with the University of Washington, he holds dual appointments as a professor of PhD & MBA programs at, the University of Puerto Rico, USA, and the University of Reading, UK. He holds two honorary titles as ‘Distinguished Scholar/ Distinguished Professor’ with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM-K), and SIBM, the premier business schools in South Asia. He is known as an author/co-author of books such as Business Environment (4th ed), International Marketing, Services Marketing, Export-Import Management (2nd edition), and Management of Banking & Financial Services by McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press & Pearson respectively. Dr. Paul is serving/ has served as an Associate/Managing Editor with the International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, European Management Journal, Journal of Retailing & Consumer Services, Asia Pacific Business Review, European Business Review, Small Business Economics, and Journal of Strategic Marketing. International Journal of Emerging Markets, The Services Industries Journal, and European Journal of International Management.


Dr. Paul introduced the Masstige model and measure for brand management, the CPP Model for internationalization, the SCOPE framework for Small firms, and the 7-P Framework for International Marketing. His articles have been downloaded over 800,000 times during the last six years. He has published over 130 research papers in SSCI journals and 150 in Scopus. Out of this, over 70 papers are in A or A star journals as per the Australian Business Deans counCouncilDC) list. He has also served as a faculty member of Nagoya University, Japan, and IIM. In addition, he has taught full courses at Aarhus University- Denmark, Grenoble Eco le de Management-& University of Versailles -France, Universities in Lithuania, Warsaw -Poland, and has conducted research development workshops in countries such as Austria, USA, Spain, Croatia, China. He has been a Program Director for training diplomats from different countries and also holds an honorary title- a Professor of Eminence at a Govt University. He has been an invited speaker at several institutions such as the University of Chicago, Vienna Uni of Commerce & Business- Austria, Fudan & UIBE-China, Barcelona, and Madrid, and has published three best-selling case studies with Ivey & Harvard.
